Our services are provided by qualified health professionals only and each patient will work with a core treatment team that always includes a Medical Practitioner, Psychologist and Exercise Physiologist, with Dieticians and other health professionals included as needed.
Our program costs vary depending on your individual program. The medical components are claimable through Medicare, however as a general guide, your out of pocket expenses will vary between $70 and $100 per week throughout your program (with most programs lasting between 20-100 weeks including the active weight loss and weight maintenance phases). These fees cover all health professionals who you will see as part of your program, however they do not cover any medications prescribed or meal replacements (although using meal replacements will offset your grocery bill).
You will also be charged separately for completing the assessment process prior to embarking on your program. This process involves a comprehensive lifestyle and psychological assessment, so that we can better understand those factors that are contributing to your weight problems, as well as those that can be harnessed for maximum success. The assessment is used to design your program and you will be provided with a full report with recommendations at the completion of this process. Total out of pocket expenses for this phase are $350, which includes the analysis of your completed pre-interview assessment questionnaire, any additional psychological or lifestyle questionnaires necessary, face-to-face interview, and post assessment results and feedback session.
Health Care Card/Pensioners:
We also offer special group programs for people holding health care cards and pensioners. Contact us for more information.
